Effective and last updated: October 9, 2026. This notice describes the Magical New Beginnings nonprofit website. The separate Magical New Beginnings Thrift Shop and outside services may have different practices.

Information handled by this website

• Browsing: hosting and security providers receive connection information needed to deliver the site, which may include IP address, browser/device information, requested pages, and technical logs.
• Approved community content: the private editor stores the public name or alias, story, sponsorship needs and status, photos, photo descriptions, permission flags, and creation/update dates supplied by the authorized administrator. Drafts are stored privately; published entries are visible to anyone.
• Administrator sign-in: ChatGPT sign-in supplies account identity and email for authorization. The site uses that identity to restrict its editor. It does not receive your ChatGPT chat history through this sign-in.
• Device-only tools: the inquiry guide prepares text in your browser. It does not send a message. Copying uses your device clipboard. Giving-intention downloads are local reminders, not donations or subscriptions. Your butterfly animation preference is stored locally.

How information is used and shared

The website uses this information to provide pages and resources, secure administrator access, maintain approved community updates, and show current sponsorship needs. Published names, stories, photos, and needs are public and may be copied, indexed, or reshared by others. Use an alias when preferred; avoid home addresses, schools, identification documents, medical details, or other sensitive information.

OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare hosting/storage services process information to operate the website. The current website code has no advertising pixels, marketing analytics, advertising audience exports, or feature that sells personal information. These statements describe this site's implementation; providers operate under their own notices. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or needed to address misuse or security issues.

Stories, photos, and children

The private editor requires the administrator to confirm permission before publishing a story and separately confirm permission for a photo. This confirmation does not replace a signed or otherwise documented permission record. The person should approve the exact story, public name or alias, photo, and intended website use. For a child, obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian with authority to consent. Assistance is not conditioned on publicity.

This website is intended for adults seeking family resources and supporters. Children should not independently submit personal information. Contact us if a child's information appears without appropriate permission. Uploaded photos are not automatically stripped of location metadata; the administrator must remove location and identifying metadata before uploading.

Applications, contact, and third-party services

Assistance applications open in Google Forms. Calling, Facebook messaging, Instagram, and community groups operate outside this website. Review the form's and service's own privacy information before submitting. The information you send through those channels is handled by their operators and the receiving organization. This notice does not establish their retention practices.

The Google map loads only after you choose to show it. A city/ZIP search opens Google Maps and sends the search to Google. Ordinary social links do not embed social-media feeds or pixels in this website. External sites may use cookies and tracking under their own policies.

Cookies, local storage, and tracking choices

The site's own code stores only the animation preference in browser local storage. Sign-in and hosting providers may use necessary authentication or security cookies. The site does not implement cross-site advertising tracking and does not change its behavior based on a browser's Do Not Track signal. It does not implement sale/sharing of data for targeted advertising; no advertising opt-out workflow is currently built. See Cookie Information for practical choices.

Retention and security

Community entries and uploaded photos remain in hosted storage until the administrator removes them. Drafts and unpublished entries are not automatically erased; removing a photo from a page does not itself delete an older stored file. There is no automatic retention deadline configured. Hosting logs, authentication records, and backups follow provider practices. Access to the editor is restricted to the authorized account, and public endpoints expose only published, permission-confirmed content. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

To request access to, correction of, removal of, or withdrawal of permission for a story or photo, contact Charmaine Reyes-Chu, President, at (909) 858-2753. Identify the page and the requested change without sending identification documents or sensitive family details publicly. We may need to verify your relationship to the content. We can remove content we control, but cannot guarantee removal of copies already made by search engines or other people. Any legal right or exception depends on the law that applies; this notice does not limit applicable rights.

For Google Forms responses or messages, ask the receiving organization about its request process. You can avoid loading the map, decline to submit outside forms, sign out of the editor, and clear browser storage. Requesting privacy help does not require agreeing to public storytelling.
