Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 9, 2026. Magical New Beginnings aims to make its website usable by people with disabilities. Our improvement target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a working accessibility statement, not a certification of conformance.

Features available

A skip-to-content link, labeled navigation, page headings, and visible keyboard focus.
Keyboard-operated menus, forms, filters, buttons, and giving-preview dialog.
Text descriptions for informative photos and a required description before publishing a community photo.
Responsive layouts and browser zoom support without disabling magnification.
Butterfly pause controls and respect for device reduced-motion preferences.
Form labels, required-field information, and announced status/error feedback.
Food-directory text links as an alternative to the optional map.

Using the website

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, Enter to activate a link or button, and Space to toggle a checkbox. Press Escape to close the mobile menu or giving dialog. Browser zoom and your device's text settings can enlarge content. Decorative animation can be paused on each page.

Known limits and ongoing review

Source and browser checks help identify issues, but they do not replace a full screen-reader and assistive-technology audit. New photos and stories require continuing review of descriptions, readability, and consent. Google Forms, Google Maps, social-media pages, and ChatGPT sign-in are separate services whose accessibility we do not control.

You do not need to disclose a diagnosis. You can ask for the information by phone if an online step is difficult. We welcome reports and use them to guide improvements.
